• Customers will be notified of any changes before additional work is performed.
• Diagnostic testing is a billable, non‑refundable service.
• Diagnostic fees apply regardless of whether repairs are approved.
• Additional diagnostics may be required if new symptoms appear.
Labor, Parts & Customer‑Supplied Components
• Labor rates follow industry standards and vary by vehicle and repair type.
• Parts pricing is subject to availability and market changes.
• All parts warranties follow the policies of the manufacturer or supplier.
• Quality First Auto Diagnostic is not liable for manufacturer defects in parts.
Customer‑Supplied Parts
• No warranty is provided on customer‑supplied parts.
• We cannot guarantee performance, reliability, or fitment of customer‑supplied components.
• Customer‑supplied parts may be refused if deemed unsafe, incorrect, or unreliable.
• Failures caused by customer‑supplied parts are not covered under any warranty.
Vehicle Condition Disclaimer
• We are not responsible for failures of worn, rusted, seized, or fragile components that may break during normal repair procedures.
• Additional labor or parts required due to pre‑existing conditions will be billed accordingly.
• Repairs performed without a prior diagnosis by Quality First Auto Diagnostic carry no warranty.
Fluid Loss, Overheating & Post‑Repair Responsibility
• Customers are responsible for monitoring fluid levels after repairs.
• Quality First Auto Diagnostic is not liable for engine or component damage caused by continued operation with leaks, overheating, or low fluid levels.
• Warranty does not cover damage caused by neglect, misuse, or failure to follow post‑repair recommendations.
Warranty Policy
Workmanship Warranty
• Labor performed by Quality First Auto Diagnostic is covered by a 30‑day workmanship warranty (invoice policy) and a 12‑month / 12,000‑mile workmanship warranty where applicable.
• Workmanship‑related failures will be corrected at no cost, including labor and necessary materials.
Parts Warranty
• All parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which applies to replacement of the defective part only.
• Manufacturer warranties do not include labor unless explicitly stated.
Labor on Manufacturer Part Failures
• If a part fails due to manufacturer defect, the part will be replaced under its warranty.
• Labor for replacement is billed at a reduced rate as a goodwill gesture.
• The customer is responsible for remaining labor costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Warranty Limitations
Warranty does not apply to:
• Customer‑supplied parts
• Overheating, neglect, or lack of maintenance
• Aftermarket modifications
• Pre‑existing issues or unrelated failures
• Damage caused by continued operation after a warning or leak is identified
All warranty claims require inspection and approval before warranty work begins.
Payment Terms
• Full payment is required upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged.
• Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, or other approved options.
• Special‑order parts are non‑refundable after procurement.
Vehicle Pick‑Up, Storage & Abandonment
• Vehicles must be picked up within 48 hours of repair completion unless prior arrangements are made.
• Storage fees may apply after this period.
• Vehicles left over 30 days without communication may be considered abandoned as permitted by state law.
Test Drive Authorization
By requesting service, the customer authorizes Quality First Auto Diagnostic to operate the vehicle for testing, diagnosis, and verification of repairs.
Towing Disclaimer
If towing is provided or arranged, Quality First Auto Diagnostic is not liable for towing‑related damage, loss, or delays.
Wheel Retorque Notice
Any time wheels are removed, a retorque of wheel fasteners is recommended after 50–100 miles (80–160 km). Failure to retorque may result in wheel or fastener damage, which is not covered under warranty.
Limitation of Liability
Quality First Auto Diagnostic is not responsible for:
• Loss of personal items left in the vehicle
• Delays caused by parts availability or supplier issues
• Damage resulting from customer neglect or misuse
• Loss of use, rental fees, or incidental expenses
