Our automotive repair services aim to provide accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and excellent customer service. However, the following terms apply:

  1. Diagnostics and Estimates: Repair times and costs provided are estimates and subject to change based on the condition of the vehicle and unforeseen complications during repair. Customers will be informed of any changes before proceeding with additional work.

  2. Parts and Warranties: We use quality parts for all repairs. However, warranties on parts are subject to the policies of the part manufacturers or suppliers. We are not liable for any manufacturer defects in parts.

  3. Customer-Supplied Parts: In cases where customers supply their own parts for repairs, we cannot guarantee the performance or reliability of these components, nor do we provide warranties for them. Additionally, some customer-supplied parts may be refused or recommended against installation if they are deemed unsuitable or unreliable.

  4. Liability: While we take utmost care with every vehicle, we are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions, unforeseen issues, or additional damages discovered during repairs. Additionally, any requested repairs performed without a diagnosis by us will not carry any warranty.

  5. Vehicle Pick-Up: All vehicles must be picked up within 48 hours of repair completion unless prior arrangements are made. Storage fees may apply after this period.

  6. Payment Terms: Full payment is required upon completion of services. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, or other methods as specified by the shop.

Refund Policy - the basics

 Quality First Auto Diagnostic

At Quality First Auto Diagnostic, we pride ourselves on delivering accurate diagnostics and high-quality automotive repairs. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. To ensure fairness for both our customers and our business, our refund policy is as follows:

General Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be considered under the following conditions:

  1. Service Dissatisfaction: If a customer believes a service was performed incorrectly, they must contact us within 7 days of the service date for review.

  2. Misdiagnosis: If a diagnosis is proven to be incorrect after further inspection by a qualified third party, we will reassess the issue and may offer a refund or credit toward future services.

  3. Parts & Labor: Refunds on installed parts are subject to manufacturer warranty policies. Labor fees are non-refundable unless an error occurred in service execution.

  4. Canceled Appointments:

    • If canceled 24 hours or more before the scheduled service, no cancellation fee applies.

    • If canceled within 24 hours, a fee of $50 may be applied for labor time allocation.

Exclusions

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Correct Diagnoses with Declined Repairs: If a customer chooses not to proceed with repairs after receiving an accurate diagnosis, the diagnostic fee remains non-refundable.

  • Customer-Supplied Parts: We do not guarantee or provide refunds for work completed using parts supplied by the customer.

  • Normal Wear & Tear Failures: Mechanical failures that occur after service completion due to aging components or unrelated issues are not covered under the refund policy.

Resolution Process

  1. Customers must submit refund requests in writing via email or in person with all relevant details (invoice number, service date, and reason for the request).

  2. Our team will review the request and respond within 3 business days with a resolution or next steps.

  3. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days, and customers may choose between:

    • A direct refund to the original payment method.

    • A service credit for future repairs.
